Francesco Micheli’s production of Handel’s Alcina brings style and sumptuous excess to Glyndebourne’s first-ever staging.
The cast includes Jane Archibald (Alcina), Soraya Mafi (Morgana), Samantha Hankey (Ruggiero) and Stuart Jackson (Oronte) with conductor Jonathan Cohen and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment.
